“Free Falling”

Lucy and Chris’s Trash the Dress Session at Bouma Taveuni was like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. In our minds we pretended Lucy and Chris were adventurers in search of a mystical waterfall carried on the back of traditional folklore spoken only in the shadows through whispers that swore the source flowed directly from the garden of Eden granting eternal happiness (and even immortality) to those who were fortunate enough to find it and take a leap of faith into it, and only those who survived were those found worthy. And so somewhere deep in the thick of the Taveuni rain forest with just their hearts to navigate them Lucy and Chris found their eternal happiness but far be it from legend, tradition, or folklore as they leapt free falling into each others embrace.

Here’s what the couple had to say about the day:

“I think that we both felt a little bit apprehensive about the whole thing – worried that we would feel rather foolish and self conscious in front of the camera and any onlookers.

On the day Ropate and Gitte were just so easy to get along with and made it all such fun whilst being professional and focussed on what they wanted to achieve; we found ourselves totally relaxed messing around in front of the camera and had a really fantastic time.”

How was your overall experience?

Although getting to the Waterfalls was a mini adventure in itself, the time spent in such an amazing location with the Kama’s was definitely one of the highlights in what has been an amazing wedding and honeymoon experience in Fiji.
