“On Cloud Nine”

Even before Brianna and Dean’s Fiji Wedding we felt we had already made a heart connection with them, and a lot that is down to the way in which they totally valued our style and put their full trust in us to deliver something creative. This is the back story behind that connection, which was a collaboration that placed both them and us on cloud nine.

What made you choose Fiji:

Fiji was an easy choice for us – We chose Fiji as our idyllic wedding destination so that our closest friends and family from all over the world could join us in paradise to celebrate our wedding and enjoy a relaxing holiday. Having Fiji’s wonderful blue water, weather and people helped to make our day even more perfect.

Tell us a bit about the day through your eyes:

The day was filled with love, laughter, tears of happiness and epic dance moves. Having recently moved away from our families and friends, the day was not only a celebration of our life and future together but an opportunity to spend time with the most important people in both our lives.

The wedding itself was a blur of excitement and love. The ceremony was filled with so much emotion as our guests were genuinely excited at the joining of our two lives and families. The day was perfect in every way and it was honestly the happiest day of our lives.

What was you’re favourite moment of the day:

Dean – My favourite moment of the day was watching Brianna walk down the aisle. For everyone at the ceremony it was obvious that Bree looked amazing and happy to become my wife. The anticipation of her arrival was exciting and scary at the same time but after the ceremony begun, I could tell we were going to have an amazing life together. Special mention to the impromptu visit from the furry dog on the beach. He was so happy playing in Bree’s beautiful gown, making the day even more unique.

Brianna – My favourite moment of the day was holding Dean’s hands at the ceremony and seeing all the emotion in his eyes. Reading our vows to each other was also a moment I will treasure forever, it became clearer than ever to me in that moment that our lives were meant to be shared together. I will also always remember having our closest friends and family there in beautiful Fiji to celebrate with us – It honestly doesn’t get any better than that.

Is there any advice you’d like to give future brides in preparation for their big day:

Don’t lose sight of the real reason why you are getting married – Rain, hail or beautiful Fijian sunshine your wedding in paradise will be magical. Part of having a destination wedding means that it doesn’t matter how much you plan, some things will turn out differently to the way you envisioned them to be – but this is all part of the wedding celebration and your day will still be magnificent!

And finally, are there any special thanks or mentions you’d like to make:

To our beautiful family and friends, who made the journey to Fiji to celebrate our wedding – we even had family come all the way from England! Our day was made even more incredible by creating life long memories together.

Thank you to the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa for providing us with an absolutely stunning wedding venue, and to Monika for helping us plan our special day.

Finally, a MASSIVE thank you to ‘The Kama’s’ for cementing our special memories and moments together forever – this team are talented beyond measure and made us feel like we had known them for ages. They captured all our amazing moments without even being seen half the time. These guys are masters in what they do and really took the time to find out who we were and what we were all about. We can not recommend Kama Catch Me enough to capture the most important day of your life!
